  • Booking and communication records

Guides' and Users' Responsibilities

Guides are independent controllers of any Personal Information they collect directly from Travelers during an Experience, such as during communication or service delivery.

Guides agree to handle all Personal Information obtained through the Platform lawfully and only for the purpose of delivering the booked Experience, in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Japan).

Guides must not sell, distribute, or misuse Traveler Personal Information. Further details are set out in the GuidePal Local Guide Agreement.

Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed at individuals under the age of eighteen (18), and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children.

If you believe we have collected Personal Information from a child, please contact us so that we can take appropriate steps to delete it.
